11th Graduation Ceremony

The Clive Irvine College Of Nursing held its 11th graduation ceremony on Friday 30th September 2016 at the Chogoria hospital grounds.The Guest of Honour was Professor James Mwenda of Aga Khan University Hospital, Nairobi .

The Graduation ceremony marked graduation for March 2011, September 2011, March 2012 and September 2012 intakes. A total of 97 graduands were awarded with Diploma Certificates.

The best performing students in each class were also recognized and awarded.The awards were as follows:

MARCH 2011 CLASS

1. Best theory-Centreen Mwende

2. Best practical-Hellen Mutindi

3. Best overall-Centreen Mwende

MARCH 2012 CLASS

1. Best theory-Egla Kerubo Marube

2. Best practical-Harriet Kendi

3. Best overall– Egla Kerubo Marube

SEPTEMBER 2012 CLASS

1. Best theory-Carol Gatwiri Njagi

2. Best practical-Stephen Nyoike

3. Best overall-Jackline Wawira Njagi

The graduands were taken through the Nightingale Oath to mark their entry into the Nursing Profession.

Earlier in the morning, the event also marked the dedication and opening of the new academic block at the school of nursing. The new block comprises of teaching halls and lecturers offices.

We take this moment to wish our graduates all the best and welcome them to the nursing profession.
